1st Shift Welder

The ideal candidate will have a knowledgeable background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work effectively in an indoor construction site environment. The Welder will be responsible for constructing and repairing metal structures and components before the rest of the product is assembled ( spot/pin welds before bolts are inserted ) , ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. *Duties* * Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including Stick welding, to fabricate and assemble metal structures. * Utilize power tools and equipment such as calipers for precise measurements and adjustments. * Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements. * Construct ductwork and other metal components according to design specifications. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the construction site. * Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining quality standards. * Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance. * Steel Toe shoes _*ARE REQUIRED*_ *Skills* * Proficient in welding techniques, particularly Stick welding. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to fabricate and build metal structures. * Experience working with power tools and measuring instruments such as calipers. * Familiarity with ductwork installation and repair processes is a plus. * Ability to work effectively in a construction site environment, adhering to safety protocols. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
