Job Title: Mortgage Loan Trading Analyst Location: Dallas, TXDuration: 6 monthsPay Rate: $23/HR (W2 Only)Job/Role Description:This role supports the asset-backed financing and mortgage loan trading operations of our client, including whole loan acquisition, sales, securitizations, and financing activities.This position will assist in facilitating the acquisition, monitoring, reporting, and disposition/securitization of loans purchased or originated from various business platforms across consumer, student, solar, auto, and residential asset classes.This position will service a portfolio of syndicated and bilateral financing facilities and work with agent banks and transfer agents to resolve cash and position discrepancies.Settle complex loan trades and monitor/review complex legal documents pertaining to the syndicated warehouse loan portfolio.Communicate effectively with external business counterparts such as agent banks, clients, and trading partners, as well as internal stakeholders across Business Groups, Middle Office, Legal, Tax, Controllers, and Technology teams.Collaborate with cross-regional teams on initiatives supporting warehouse infrastructures and structured transactions, including large purchases, acquisitions, and securitizations of Residential/Commercial Real Estate and Consumer loan pools.Meet Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and other performance and risk metrics as outlined by management and assist with regulatory reporting related to the bank loans industry.Perform initial investigation and triage of discrepancies and issues within the loan portfolio.Identify opportunities for improvement in monitoring, reporting, and asset management processes and workflows.Provide support on complex transactions while maintaining high-quality service delivery and adherence to performance standards.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business, Math, or Accounting plus 2-4 years of financial industry or related experienceStrong communication skills (clear, concise, and confident) with the ability to manage internal and external relationshipsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with Tableau or other BI tools a plusMortgage banking or other financial industry experience preferredAbility to work under tight time constraints and extended hours as requiredSolid analytical and logical mindset with strong attention to detailAbility to prioritize workload and manage expectations effectivelyProven analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make sound decisions under pressureHighly self-motivated and directed with strong organizational skillsKeen attention to detail and strong customer/stakeholder service orientationExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentPrevious experience in vendor or agent bank management a plus
