Job DescriptionCommercial Lines Account ManagerWoodcliff Lake, NJ (Hybrid)$90,000 – $140,000 (Depending on Experience)Our client, a start up and growing insurance agency, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team in a hybrid capacity out of Woodcliff Lake, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned insurance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts.Position OverviewThe Commercial Lines Account Manager will be responsible for managing a book of business with a focus on middle to large market clients across a variety of industries. This role requires a strong generalist background, with preferred experience in real estate, construction, and contractor-focused accounts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, client-focused, and capable of handling accounts from start to finish.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full lifecycle of commercial accounts, including renewals, endorsements, billing, and client servicingServe as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationshipsMarket new and renewal business to carriers to secure competitive coverage and pricingReview policies and coverage to ensure alignment with client needs and risk exposuresPrepare proposals, summaries, and client-facing documentationCoordinate with producers, underwriters, and carriers to ensure seamless service deliveryAssist with claims advocacy and resolution as neededStay current on market trends, carrier appetites, and industry developmentsQualifications5+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experienceStrong generalist background with exposure to multiple lines of coverageExperience working with middle to large market accounts preferredIndustry experience in real estate, construction, and contractor segments highly preferredProficiency in agency management system Applied Epic required Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsActive Property & Casualty license requiredWhat’s OfferedCompetitive base salary ranging from $90K – $140K, depending on experienceHybrid work schedule offering flexibilityCollaborative team environment with growth opportunitiesAccess to a wide range of carriers and diverse client portfolio
