Job Full DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and dependable Sewing Machine Operatorfor our client located in Back of The Yards. Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines, assembling fabric products, and ensuring all finished items meet quality standards. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities:Select appropriate thread, materials, and machine settings for each jobCut, sew, and assemble fabric according to specifications and patternsAttach components such as buttons, zippers, clasps, and other fastenersOperate sewing machines, including adjusting stitch length and widthReplace needles and perform routine machine adjustments as neededIdentify and troubleshoot minor machine issues to minimize downtimeInspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracyMaintain a clean and organized work areaQualifications:High school diploma, GED, or equivalentPrevious experience operating sewing machines (industrial preferred)Ability to read and follow patterns, instructions, and measurementsBasic knowledge of sewing machine operation and maintenanceStrong attention to detail and hand-eye coordinationGood vision (corrective lenses acceptable)Ability to work efficiently and manage time in a production environmentStrong teamwork and communication skillsTo Apply:email resumes to , SEWING in the Subject LineOak Lawn, IL 3126 9715 Southwest Highway Oak Lawn, IL 60453
