Our promise: Roofing, the Easy Way.Role OverviewWe are looking for a high-performing Sales Leader to be the face of Bumble Roofing in the field. This is a 'Player-Coach' role where you will personally handle lead conversion, inspections, and closing during our startup phase. As the lead revenue generator, you will be responsible for setting the standard of excellence that our future sales team will follow.As we scale, your focus will shift toward sales leadership, recruitment, and full operational business management.Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $50,000–$60,000 (W-2) Sales commissions on personally closed jobs 401(k) Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement Training and development Paid time off Opportunity for increased base compensation and long-term incentives as the business growsWhat We’re Looking For Proven Closer: 3+ years of experience in residential sales (Roofing/Home Improvement preferred) Tech-Fluent: Highly comfortable using mobile apps, CRMs, and video technology daily Proven ability to drive sales and manage projects in roofing, construction, or home improvement services Strong understanding of job costing, margins, and production flow Demonstrated leadership and accountability for results Comfortable working in the field, including climbing roofs Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills Valid driver’s license; ability to lift up to 50 lbsWhat You’ll DoSales Support & Leadership Personally manage and close leads from Meta Ads, referrals, and canvassing Conduct professional roof inspections and deliver transparent, educational presentations (The "Bumble Way") Monitor lead flow, pipeline, and conversionOperations & Production Management Oversee projects from contract to completion Coordinate permitting, scheduling, materials, inspections, and compliance Manage subcontractors, enforce safety, and ensure quality Conduct job site checks and final walkthroughs Track job costs, margins, and timelinesTeam & Customer Management Lead day-to-day operations Build relationships with crews, vendors, and the sales representative Train and coach team members on standards and processes Serve as primary contact post-sale, resolve issues, and drive customer reviews Support marketing, social media, and community engagementPerformance & Reporting Maintain accurate documentation and CRM updates Track and report KPIs including revenue, gross margin, job cycle time, rework rates, and customer satisfaction Proactively manage communications with ownership, including daily activity summaries and pipeline updates to ensure operational alignment Partner with leadership on performance reporting and continuous improvementSafety & Compliance Enforce OSHA and company safety policies Maintain incident reports and ensure crews follow safe practiceWork Location: Will County, DuPage County, Chicago & surrounding suburbs
