Director, Project Quality

Venture Global LNG ("Venture Global") is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company's Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global's modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.We are looking for a Director, Project Quality to join our team in Point Celeste, LA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation of the project quality management system, quality plans, procedures, templates, and training programs across the project organization, and interfacing with the Quality Leadership team to ensure feed back from the execution team are implemented as part of our Continuous Improvement Initiative.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and Implement Quality Management Systems, including developing quality plans, establishing metrics, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.Lead, train, and mentor a team of Quality Assurance and Quality Control staff, and organize daily tasks to ensure effective quality management.Implement and manage corrective and preventative actions for non-conformances, track quality issues, and resolve them before they impact project timelines or budgets.Prepare and present data-driven quality reports to senior leadership, highlighting performance, trends, and risks.Monitor and inspect all phases of construction to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with senior leadership, engineers, subcontractors, and business units to ensure alignment on quality standards and objectives.QualificationsMinimum of 10 years of experience in Construction Quality management, in the energy industry, preferably in LNGBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Project Management, Industrial Technology, or related field preferredMust have strong knowledge and understanding of construction process, materials, quality standards, and legal/regulatory requirementsStrong knowledge of API Q1, ISO 9001, international quality standards, and technical matters related to ASME and API codes and standardsExperience with audits, inspections, and subcontractor evaluationsWell-articulated with excellent written and verbal communication, planning, computing, technical, and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to travel, both domestic and internationalAbility to perform multiple tasks, work within project deadlines and adjust as priorities changePossess the ability to mentor others through technical training and guidanceHave the ability to read and interpret engineer drawings to include P&IDs, Civil/Structural plans and details, Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Piping Isometrics, etc.Broad knowledge and understating of all industry codes, standards, and industry best practicesHave advanced computer experience with Smartsheet, SharePoint, BI, Adobe, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel Work productsAbility to obtain a TWIC CardPreferred Minimum CertificationsASQ CertificationsPMI Certifications (PMP, RMP)API/AWS/ASME CertificationsASNT CertificationsVenture Global LNG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
