CDL-A Regional Truck Driver
Pay: $1,400 to $1,500 per weekHome Time: Out 7 to 10 days with 34-48 hour resetFreight: 100% no-touch dry van freight | 90% drop and hookLocation: Milwaukee, WI 53202• Steady OTR freight with consistent dispatch flow• Average 2,500 to 3,000 miles per week• New equipment with inverter and refrigerator• Running primarily East of I-35Consistent freight availability and organized scheduling help CDL-A drivers stay moving consistently on this OTR position with Jamie Tharpe Trucking.Drivers average 2,500 to 3,000 miles weekly while hauling 100% no-touch dry van freight with 90% drop and hook loads. Most routes run East of I-35, although drivers may occasionally operate outside that area based on customer needs.Perks for this CDL-A Driver Position:$1,400 to $1,500 weekly pay, layover and detention pay, referral bonus opportunities, and support from a 24/7 operations team. Drivers are assigned newer high-quality tractors equipped with inverters and refrigerators for added comfort on the road.Dry van trailers and Qualcomm Elogs are provided, and approved riders are welcome through the rider policy program.Qualifications:3 to 6 months of tractor trailer experience in the last year or 1 year of tractor trailer experience within the last 3 years is required. Drivers must possess a valid CDL-A license, current medical card, and maintain a Clearinghouse record free of violations. Applicants must also have 12 months of safe driving following a safety termination.Onboarding Process:Remote orientation is provided before drivers are routed to the nearest terminal for truck assignment. Hotel accommodations are provided before pickup, lunch is included before dispatch, and drivers receive $200 onboarding pay.Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available along with 401(k), vacation pay, and opportunities to become a mentor or move into a dedicated lane when available.
