The Psychiatrist provides direct patient care to patients in in-patient and out-patient psychiatric/behavioral health settings. The Psychiatrist is responsible for the evaluation of psychiatric health and medical needs as well as developing and implementing a plan to treat the patients in their care. Minimum Requirements:Graduation from an accredited Medical School with a Doctorate's degree in Medicine (MD/DO) is required. Successful completion of a psychiatric residency approved by the Accreditation Council of on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or equivalent bodyLicensed to practice medicine in the state of practice as required. Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and NeurologyActive DEA and DPS numbers are requiredComplies with all relevant professional standards of practiceCurrent CPR if applicableTB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicableCurrent Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)Must meet all federal, state, and local requirementsMust be at least 18 years of age
