Provides safe, motivating, and effective exercise instruction with an emphasis on customer service, communication and the ability to motivate others.Management and Fitness Center Operations:• Overall fitness and wellness supervision, leadership and management• Oversight of all fitness center staff (onsite and virtual)Staff training and communicationCoordinates schedules for staff and communicates schedule changes (including holidays)Updates staff files on a regular basis with certifications & agreementsRecruits, hires, and trains staff and contractorsApproves Fitness Center employee payroll (bi-monthly)• Evaluates and provides regular feedback to the team; and conducts annual performance reviews• Point of contact for relationship and communication with client• Attends and speaks at any board meetings• Fitness center floor supervision• Manages in house Community Engagement Platform• Membership administration• Financial administration and budget management• Complies with Centers of Excellence & Elevation Elite Standards• Oversight of center marketing and promotions• Proactively inspects the facility daily and reports any cleaning, facility, or equipment issues to the appropriate personnel• Meets and supports objectives, goals and initiatives of Elevation Health• Contributes new ideas, seek internal and external resources to support the goals of the teams• Adheres to timelines, produces quality work, show initiative by taking on team responsibilitiesFitness Instruction• Provides group exercise instruction (up to 4 classes per week)Responsible for 1 Live class per month and 1 Station class per quarter.Conducts member tours, fitness assessments, fitness center and equipment orientations, exercise prescriptions (design program plans) and more• Provides individualized, safe and effective exercise programs and comprehensive member services for all fitness levels• Other duties as assignedWhat we are looking for:Education:BS in Exercise Science or related field preferredCurrent CPR certification requiredPersonal Training certification requiredSpecialty group exercise class certification preferredExperience:At least 2 years of management experience requiredAt least 2 year of experience training, supervising, personal training & group fitness programsExperience creating, organizing budgets for program and fitness center annuallyExperience teaching group exercise classes requiredNutrition and Life coaching experience preferredSkills:Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service and presentation skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent computer skills including Microsoft and Google SuiteMaintain all required certifications throughout duration of employmentShow support for company values through participation in Elevation programs and meetingsWhat We Offer:Medical, dental and vision benefits available for all full-time employees after 30 days of employment (on the first of the following month)Ancillary insurance benefits available after 1 year of employmentHealth Savings Account401k participation after 1 year of employment (with up to 3% match)Paid Time Off (accrual based on tenure)Professional Development reimbursement available immediately (amount based on tenure)Extensive Training and Development ProgramPartnership with ISSA for CEUs and certification discountsEmployee Discount ProgramReady to make a difference?
