Job Title: Data Center Support / Operations EngineerLocation: Atlanta, GA (Onsite - 5 Days a Week Mandatory)Duration: ContractShift: 8-Hour Shift (Day/Rotational as required)Required Skills & QualificationsProven experience as a Data Center Operations Engineer / Support EngineerStrong hands-on experience with:Servers: Dell, enterprise-grade hardwareNetworking: Cisco switches/routers, Palo Alto firewallsExperience with structured cabling, rack & stack, and cable managementKnowledge of power systems, UPS, PDUs, generators, and cooling infrastructureExperience providing remote hands support in data center environmentsUnderstanding of data center security, access controls, and monitoringbility to work onsite 5 days per week and perform physical tasks (lifting equipment, rack work)Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support data center operations for physical and virtual infrastructureInstall, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain server and network hardware (Cisco, Dell, Palo Alto)Perform structured cabling, rack & stack, patching, labeling, and documentationMonitor and manage power distribution, cooling systems, and environmental controlsProvide remote hands and smart hands support for internal teams and customersEnsure high availability, uptime, and capacity planning/scalingImplement and maintain secure access controls and follow security best practicesTroubleshoot hardware failures and coordinate replacements (RMA, vendor support)Follow and enforce operational standards, SOPs, and compliance requirementsSupport incident response, maintenance windows, and change management activities
