Details Hospital Operating Room (OR) setting 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM Rotating weekend requirement On-call required: rotating late call until 7:00 PM Monday–Thursday, and Friday night call rotation May float to other surgical specialties Holiday coverage required Requirements Active LA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Hands-on OR experience in robotics, neuro, plastics, and ortho surgery required Cardiovascular surgery experience preferred Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration Copy of Driver's License required for consideration Work history gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained Additional Information First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible American Traveler Job ID P-688007.
