The ideal candidate will prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction and plumbing projects, collaborating closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Estimator at Optimum Construction Group's San Ramon, CA location. The Project Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed construction cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, collaborating with project managers and stakeholders, and ensuring project budgets align with client needs. Additional duties include providing insight on cost-saving strategies, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in bidding processes to secure new projects.QualificationsProven expertise in Construction Estimating and Project Estimation for various scales and types of projectsStrong skills in Budgeting and Cost ManagementExcellent Communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholdersProficiency in construction cost estimation software and related toolsDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsA bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferredExperience in multifamily and community project estimation is a plusFamiliarity with local building codes and regulations in California
