Accounting Specialist

Job Description Snelling is currently seeking an upbeat and professional Accounting Clerk for an amazing automotive dealership in the Hoover area. Hours 8a-5p Monday-Friday. Starting Pay $19.00-20.00/hr. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's accounting functions. Leveraging your specialized expertise, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with relevant regulations.Key Responsibilities of Accounting Clerk:Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactionsReconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accountsAssist with the preparation of financial reports and statementsPerform data entry and maintain accurate accounting recordsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and analysisComply with all applicable accounting standards and internal control proceduresQualifications Needed for Accounting Clerk:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field2-3 years of experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar roleStrong proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet applicationsExcellent attention to detail and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFamiliarity with accounting principles and regulationsBookkeeping and QuickBooks experience is a mustInterested and qualified candidates for the Accounting Clerk position should submit their resume for immediate consideration.
