Construction Manager - Pharmaceuticals - Ohio - 12-Month Contract This is a fantastic opportunity for a Construction Manager to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Maryland, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.ResponsibilitiesDesigning and managing the overall project safety program.Coordinating and integrating safety programs from multiple companies into a single site safety approach.Developing a safety mindset for every person working or visiting the project site.Conduct risk reduction reviews and programs to increase safety of all persons.Manage safety permits for hot work, crane lifts and other dangerous activities.Conduct HAZOPS for process and facility systems.Track leading and lagging safety metrics.Communicate safety related informationManage safety and accident events and reporting of same.File health safety and environmental reports with governmental and external agenciesDevelop training curriculum for all project participants.Develop and implement disaster plans for the site.Develop plans for dangerous materials and operation.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in fields related to construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.Significant experience in managing construction projects, preferably including large-scale projects in the healthcare or biotechnology sector.Proven experience in successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.Experience with constructing or managing facilities for biotechnology or pharmaceutical purposes, particularly gene therapy, would be highly desirable.Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.If this role is of interest to you, please apply now!
