Supply Chain Manager/Category Manager

Your JobDEPCOM Power has an immediate need for is looking for a Supply Chain Manager/Category Manager to join the team. This person will be on the FGC Team within the Supply Chain Capability, who will support all Project and Services operations. The position will support on the Procurement department, which support our Projects & Services business units’ materials and equipment categories. Such as Modules, BESS, HV, BoS, Structural, Rental Equipment, Tooling, and construction materials. As a Supply Chain Manager/Category Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting utility scale solar and energy projects by sourcing materials and services throughout the project lifecycle.The Supply Chain Manager/Category Manager collaborates closely with project teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, cost effective, and compliant supply chain solutions.This role will be physically located in Scottsdale, AZ.This role is not eligible for Visa SponsorshipOur TeamAt DEPCOM Power, we design, build, and operate some of the largest and most efficient solar plants for leading utility companies and asset owners. As part of Koch Engineered Solutions and with locations across the United States, we are looking for ambitious and entrepreneurial-spirited professionals to join us on our growth journey to transform one of America’s fastest-growing energy sectors.This position will be on the Field & Operations team within the Supply Chain capability.What You Will DoSource optimal Equipment, Tooling, and Assets needed for operational supportDevelop and manage key suppliers and contracts necessary for supportScale Assets and Support to meet the demands of growing business unitsExecute purchasing activities for materials, equipment, and services in alignment with project schedules and business needsIdentify, evaluate, and work with suppliers to ensure quality, cost competitiveness, and on time deliveryPrepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, and related documentationCoordinate with engineering, construction, logistics, and project management teams to support project executionTrack orders, resolve issues, and proactively manage risks related to supply, cost, or scheduleSupport continuous improvement efforts within procurement processes and supplier performanceEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and ethical sourcing practicesReporting on purchasing activities to stakeholders with consideration of financesDevelop the Rent vs Buy POV for the capabilityOffice-to-Project communication and supportAnalyze and report on risks, opportunities, and developments within the categoriesUtilize current or preferred software to optimize the Asset management systemTrack Assets location, condition, and replace or optimize Assets as requiredManage preventative maintenance and servicing coordination for all AssetsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within priorities and thrive in a challenging environment with high visibilityWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing , Category, Asset or Commodity sourcing or procurementExperience using supply chain, procurement, asset, or commodity management software Supplier negotiation and relationship management experience Experience analyzing and optimizing supply chain, asset or category processes, procedures, and/or work scopes Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the futureWhat Will Put You AheadUnderstanding of material lead times, logistics, and project schedulesExperience supporting EPC, renewable energy, or large scale construction projectsFamiliarity with project financials and cost analysisExperience in Rent vs Buy and Total Cost of Ownership analysisFamiliarity with Solar or Construction assets and commoditiesExperience building operations support systems and capabilitiesPost secondary degree in Supply Chain Management or related At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
