EstimatorSmartHire is looking for an Estimator with STRONG knowledge within Aerospace, Boat Manufacturing or similar industry. Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience and knowledge of CNC equipment, strong technical skills and ability to meet deadlines. This is a full time, direct hire role in Sumner WA.Compensation:$33.00 - $38.00 per hour. DOEBenefits:Upon completion of the probationary period benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Short and Long-Term Disability, 401(k), and voluntary supplemental insurance options.Job Summary:Seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate, detailed quotes for machined parts and component packages in a manufacturing environment. This role collaborates closely with customer service, material planning, programming, outside processing, and department leads to evaluate feasibility and develop competitive pricing.Key Responsibilities:•Manage and complete RFQs (single parts to large multi-part packages) by deadline•Review specifications and drawings to assess feasibility•Coordinate with estimating team on pricing and scope•Obtain and update outside processing costs•Build and maintain strong vendor relationships•Prepare quote packages and enter quotes into the ERP system•Assist with reviewing customer/program contractsRequirements:•U.S. Citizen (ITAR compliance)•2+ years in estimating (aerospace or similar industry preferred)•Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings•Knowledge of machining, outside processing (heat treat, paint, finishing), and basic cost structures (labor, burden, material, shop rates)•Familiarity with sales contracts and long-term agreements (LTAs)•Strong attention to detail, project management skills, and sense of urgency•Self-motivated with strong follow-through•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills•Knowledge in Windows, Excel, ERP and visual manufacturing•High school diploma or GED (higher education preferred)SmartTalent is an Equal Opportunity Employer#STHMG
