Job Description
TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for a XBN Coordinator in Decatur, IL. This is a 1st shift position and the pay is $25hr.Overall PurposeThe XBN Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating sample parts through the Sample Part Approval Process (SPAP) from initiation to completion. This role serves as a critical liaison between production sources and customer facilities, ensuring all parts meet required quality standards, timelines, and documentation requirements.This position requires strong cross-functional coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple systems and stakeholders in a fast-paced manufacturing and quality environment.Reports toSite Manager/Area ManagerResponsibilitiesManage the full lifecycle of sample parts through the SPAP processEnsure all parts meet customer specifications and quality requirements prior to approvalCoordinate dimensional inspections (CMM requests) and validation activitiesMonitor and track non-conformances, deviations, and corrective actionsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records across all tracking systemsAct as a liaison between production, quality, engineering, and customer teamsProvide timely updates on part status, risks, and delaysEscalate issues that may impact delivery timelines or quality standardsCollaborate across multiple sites and departments to ensure alignmentServe as an impartial third party to ensure product compliance between supplier and customerSupport client expectations by ensuring transparency, accuracy, and responsivenessContribute to customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolutionPrioritize and manage multiple parts/projects simultaneouslyEnsure timely movement of materials between locationsSupport continuous improvement efforts in SPAP and tracking processesMaintain strict adherence to safety standards and proceduresOther duties as assigned Technical Utilize multiple systems daily to track, manage, and report on part status.WQS (Web Quality System): Track audit progress and validation statusBIMS: Manage inventory movements, holds, and transfersQSHOP: Submit inspection requests (CMM)ETQ: Manage PPAP documentation and deviationsBarcode Tracking System: Track part movement between locationsSPAP Tracker: Monitor overall pipeline and status of all sample partsMTS (Movement Tag System): Generate and update tracking tagsRepack Power Log: Submit repack requests as neededKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesHard SkillsValues & AttitudesProficiency in EnglishExcellent written and verbal communications skillsAbility to Coordinate, prioritize and multitaskDemonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced, challenging environmentAbility to take initiative and recognize needsAbility to handle highly sensitive and confidential materialExperience with quality systems, inspection processes, or manufacturing operationsStrong proficiency in:Microsoft Excel (data tracking, basic analysis)Microsoft Teams, Word, and PowerPointFamiliarity with:PPAP processes (preferred)Non-conformance and deviation trackingMeasurement/inspection coordination (CMM exposure is a plus)Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple internal systemsGlobal team spiritTeam playerCaring for peopleOpen-mindedExcellence
