Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving various aspects of residential and commercial properties. This role requires a versatile individual capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring the safety and functionality of the properties we serve. The Maintenance Person will work independently or as part of a team to deliver quality workmanship and exceptional service. Duties Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall work Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as painting, flooring, and fixture installation Troubleshoot issues and provide timely solutions to property problems Assist with remodeling projects and minor construction tasks Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used Requirements Proven experience as a Maintenance Person or in a similar maintenance role Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general repairs Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, or manuals is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites Reliable transportation to access various work locations Strong communication skills and professional attitude This position offers an opportunity to utilize diverse skills in a dynamic environment while contributing to the upkeep of properties that meet high standards of safety and quality.
