The Lead Sales Worker ensures the sales floor is well-organized, customers receive excellent service, and team members are supported in achieving performance expectations. The Lead Sales Worker is responsible for meeting/exceeding sales quotas and goals by performing the following duties:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.Assigns duties, schedules shifts and breaks, and ensures adequate floor coverageTrains and supervises staff on store policies and job dutiesOrders and inspects merchandise, supplies, and equipmentTracks deliveries, check for accuracy and reports discrepanciesPrepare sales and inventory reportsEnsure accuracy in sales and cash handlingHandles customer complaints, returns and service issues professionallyAssist staff with complex sales and customer service tasksMeets or exceeds sales goals my managing daily store operationsMaintain regular communication with store leadershipSupports donation and production operations as neededMaintains a safe work environmentOther duties as assignedPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
