Details Located in a hospital ICU setting Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00) 36-hour work commitment per schedule period 4 weekend shifts required per schedule period No on-call responsibilities Floating required to PCU and occasionally to Med/Surg at ratios up to 1:7 13-week contract Requirements Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required Two supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs) Contract nurses are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their standard care responsibilities Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility American Traveler Job ID P-689016.
