Pharmacy Technician Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in various pharmacy settings, including hospitals and acute care facilities. Your expertise in medication administration, medical terminology, and patient service will be essential in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services. Duties: - Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately - Utilize aseptic techniques to compound sterile products such as IV infusions - Maintain inventory of medications and supplies - Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care - Adhere to pharmacy regulations and safety standards Requirements: - Certification or diploma as a Pharmacy Technician - Proficiency in medical terminology and pharmacy calculations - Experience in critical care or hospital pharmacy settings preferred - Knowledge of inhalation therapies is a plus - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation - Excellent communication and customer service skills Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician and contribute to the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
