Quality Supervisor
Quality Supervisor Summary: As the Quality Supervisor, you will lead plant-level food safety and quality efforts to ensure products meet regulatory, corporate, and consumer expectations. This role drives compliance, sanitation, and continuous improvement initiatives while reinforcing a strong food safety culture across the facility. You will own key programs that protect product integrity, support operational excellence, and safeguard brand trust.Responsibilities:Execute and maintain the Plant Food Safety Program, including HACCP, CCP documentation, FDA requirements, product release processes, and pest control programs.Investigate food safety, environmental, microbiological, and foreign material non-conformances using CAPA methodologies to drive sustainable corrective and preventive actions.Manage the environmental monitoring and microbial sampling program, ensuring compliance with Corporate Quality SOPs.Lead internal audits related to GMPs, food safety systems, and quality standards to support audit readiness.Identify and implement improvements to processes, products, quality systems, and work instructions.Ensure compliance with Corporate and Plant quality SOPs through internal auditing and verification activities.Support regulatory, internal, and third-party audits (FDA, USDA, AIB, state agencies) including preparation and follow-up actions.Deliver food safety training to plant operations teams based on compliance needs.Track, analyze, and report plant Quality KPIs.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biology, Food Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum three years of food safety experience in a manufacturing environment.Preferred Qualifications:Three or more years of supervisory experience.PCQI, HACCP, or SQF certifications.Strong analytical skills and experience with quality data tools.SAP or ERP quality system experience.
