Joint Venture Relationship Manager
Strategic Business Development IVHF Sinclair is seeking a Strategic Business Development as the primary liaison for Joint Venture (JV) partners and internal stakeholders while overseeing JV marketing initiatives, owning new business ventures, managing financial performance including P&L responsibility, coordinating governance activities such as board meetings and reporting, and driving strategic planning within the JV structure.Job DutiesJV Partner Management: Act as the point of contact for JV partners addressing inquiries and requests. Support budget planning and strategic business development initiatives.Marketing and Internal Coordination: Lead marketing efforts for JV-related projects and ensure alignment with corporate objectives. Respond to management, accounting, and tax-related inquiries regarding JV activities.Governance and Meetings: Organize and prepare materials for JV board meetings, including decks and reports.Financial Oversight: Monitor monthly and quarterly financial performance. Develop internal reports for financial monitoring and projections. Serve as the liaison for accounting and tax during close processes. Track cash levels and manage distributions.Industry Engagement: Attend industry events and training sessions to stay informed on market trends and macro factors.Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Downstream Marketing is required or equivalent years of experience.Education Level: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a management related field is required. Preferred Education: MBA.Required Skills: Self-starter with drive and ability to achieve planned objectives. Excellent follow through skills. Good creative, organizational, and analytical skills. Petroleum refinery, warehouse/plant environment, and out-of-doors environment (depending upon assignment).
