Job Description:Entry level shop employeeBasic assembly experience; basic blueprint reading; team playerResponsibilities:• Setup new production work areas, including layouts, tooling and equipment setup, etc.• Assist with transition from production to packing• Manufacture, assemble, and test mechanical, of product according to written procedures and engineering models, drawings, specifications and writtenprocedures• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety• Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas• Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to achieving organizational success Qualifications:• High School diploma or GED• Ability to work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paceddynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities• Ability to interpret specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures• Basic mathematics skills• Basic computer skills such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Ability to climb ladders/stairs and work in small restricted areas• Perform repetitive work including lifting of heavy items up to 44 lbs.• Work off-shift, extended hours overtime, and weekends if/when necessary Desired• Industry certification, trade school training and/or degree in related field• Experienced in a team-based Lean Manufacturing environment• 07:00 – 15:30 with overtime and weekend hours as needed.
