Clinical Nurse III: Hematology/Oncology - Weekend Track, DAYS

The Registered Professional Nurse assesses, plans, and manages patient care throughout the episode of care, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments and tests, and documenting care according to regulations.Evaluates patient needs and responses, applying sound judgment for care management.Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.Collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care and guides ancillary staff while maintaining professional standards.Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with preferred experience as a PCA or nursing assistant.Strong commitment to continuing education and quality improvement is essential.
