DescriptionThe Creative Lead at Image Engineering leads the development of immersive, high-impact multimedia experiences across a wide variety of projects. In this role, you will be the primary architect of the creative vision, overseeing projects that span from large-scale projection mapping and 3D animation to intricate set designs and special effects.This role will serve as the bridge between client objectives and technical execution, often translating abstract missions into compelling narratives and storyboards. By collaborating with a multidisciplinary design team, you will foster an environment of innovation—pushing creative boundaries while ensuring every deliverable remains anchored in brand standards and strategic purpose.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and drive the overall creative vision for projects across multiple mediums, ensuring it aligns with the client organization's brand identity, mission, and strategic objectivesMediums include: projection mapping, video development, environmental and set piece design, 3D animation, laser and special effects multimedia showsCollaborate with producers and account managers to understand client's visionCollaborate with production team to help develop a budgetLead brainstorming and creative sessions with design team to generate ideasAbility to write and craft a client brief, narrative and storyboard based on client's inputReview work and provide feedback to designs prior to presentation to account/ project managersEstablish and maintain client brand standards while pushing creative boundaries and staying ahead of design trendsLead the creative process from concept through delivery, ensuring work reflects originality, clarity, and a distinct point of viewTranslate feedback into clear direction and change course, guiding teams toward refined, impactful solutionsBalance innovation with strategic purpose to deliver bold, effective designsStay current on emerging entertainment technologies and design trends to inform project work.Develop vendor relationships for sourcing and contracting specialized productsRequirementsBachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts required5+ years of experience in a creative direction or visual design–focused role, ideally within sports, entertainment, or agency environmentsProven experience leading and collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams across multiple mediumsA deep passion for sports, storytelling, and creating meaningful connections with fansExcellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate a vision and inspire others around itDemonstrated ability to manage projects from concept through execution in fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentsAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Working knowledge of 3D graphics, render engines, and the ability to collaborate effectively with 3D designersProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Apple KeynoteStrong work ethic with a collaborative, team-first mindsetAbility to thrive under tight timelines typical of the live entertainment and sports industriesPreferredExperience with Premiere Pro and After EffectsIllustration skillsBenefitsAetna Health, Dental, & Vision InsuranceFlexible Time Off ProgramPaid HolidaysEmployee Assistance ProgramJohn Hancock 401(k) Retirement PlanCompany-Paid Life InsuranceAflac Supplemental InsuranceDependent Care FSATravel Reward Points (hotel, airline, car rental)Cell phone discountSECU (MD) Credit Union MembershipEmployee Referral BonusesCompany perks, including regular in-office treats and social events...and more!J-18808-Ljbffr
