Job Title: Physical Security System EngineerLocation: Dallas, TXPosition Type: Full-time, Direct HireSalary Range: $100-135,000 + company vehicle and gas cardSummary:Verigent's client is seeking a Physical Security System Engineer with strong hands-on experience programming, integrating, and troubleshooting electronic security systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise with AMAG access control systems and a strong understanding of security, networking, and video management technologies.Responsibilities:• Program, configure, integrate, and troubleshoot electronic security and access control systems.• Configure and support LAN and wireless network environments associated with security systems.• Troubleshoot access control, video management, and related security technologies.• Support software deployment, system commissioning, upgrades, and diagnostics.• Integrate security platforms and associated hardware/software components.• Provide technical support throughout system implementation and deployment.• Train customers, end users, and other personnel on system operation.• Support software licensing and license management.• Work closely with project teams, customers, technicians, and end users to resolve technical issues and ensure successful project delivery.• Document system configurations, troubleshooting activities, and technical solutions.Qualifications:• 3+ years of experience programming and troubleshooting access control and/or video security systems.• Hands-on experience with AMAG access control systems.• Strong programming, configuration, and troubleshooting skills.• Experience working with industry-leading electronic security and video management platforms.• Understanding of LAN and wireless networking concepts.• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.• Excellent communication and customer service skills.• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with project teams and customers.
