Familiarity withNDT, heat treatment, and coating processesfor aerospace, defense, or medical parts
Working knowledge ofCAD/CAM and DNC systems
Experience machiningstainless steelandaluminum
Ability to create and edit shop floor inspection sheets
Demonstrated skills in process planning and new product introduction (NPI)
Ability to order and select cutting tools, holders, lathe jaws, and milling fixtures
Associate or bachelors degreein a related field, or equivalent experienceCNC Manufacturing/Programming Engineer Preferred Background & SkillsBasic understanding ofLean Manufacturing
Experience supporting shop scheduling processes
Prior exposure to generating estimates for new businessCNC Manufacturing/Programming Engineer Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesPlan manufacturing processes for new and repeat customer orders to ensure product quality and compliance
Generate and edit inspection sheets and CNC programs for a range of machinery
Select, order, and manage required tooling and fixtures to optimize workflow
Lead and oversee new product introduction (NPI) first article lots
Troubleshoot and improve manufacturing processes on the shop floor
