Company Description Shifting Perspectives LLC Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Associate Licensed Counselor, located in Boaz, AL, with the possibility of some work from home. The Associate Licensed Counselor will be responsible for providing individual counseling services, assessing client needs, developing personalized care plans, and ensuring confidentiality. The role also includes maintaining accurate records and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality mental health services to clients. Qualifications Demonstrated capabilities in active listening, empathy, and strong interpersonal communicationSkills in assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventionProficiency in completing and maintaining timely, detailed documentation and working with confidential client informationA solid understanding of ethical guidelines and mental health compliance standardsLicensure as an Associate Licensed Counselor or Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of AlabamaAbility to work independently in both in-office and remote environmentsExperience working with diverse populations and/or specific therapeutic modalities is a plusMaster’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field
