Trimble Operator

Come join our team as a Trimble Operator! The Trimble Operator is responsible for job site layout utilizing Trimble RTS. Jobsite layout will include locating sleeves, hanger inserts, anchor points, and any structural openings needed for our work. The operator will also be responsible for performing as-built point files at the conclusion of projects.ResponsibilitiesPrepare files for the Trimble RTS for layoutMeet with project and GC team onsite to evaluate conditions of control points and anything else needed to perform layoutCollaborate with BIM to ensure files are accurate for layout.Liaison between BIM team and project team as it relates to as-builts or existing conditionsUpdate point files with all field conditions or changes.Provide efficient and accurate layout to the field utilizing Trimble RTS.Qualifications3-5 years of construction experience preferredFamiliarity with basic construction methods and construction document interpretationBasic knowledge of Building Information Management (BIM) platforms such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc.Clear, effective communications skills – both written and verbalAbility to focus and drive projects forward and through to completion Aptitude for prioritizing and problem-solvingBasic knowledge of Microsoft business suite of products; MS Project experience a plusStrong mechanical aptitudeDetail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Trimble RTSKnowledge of BIM softwareKnowledge of electronic document exchangeAbility to review and understand contract drawings and specificationsAble to work well in a fast-paced environmentGeneral knowledge of construction processGeneral to specific knowledge of piping systemsLOCATION: On-siteBenefitsMedical Dental Vision Short- & long-term disability Accrued PTO Paid holidays 401(K) Profit sharing No travel required It’s time to join the team at R.T.
