The PositionBest & Sharp is a civil litigation defense firm in Tulsa, OK and we are searching for a full-time Legal (Administrative) Assistant to join our incredible team. We are looking for a professional who values teamwork, believes that details matter, produces excellent work product and wants to be part of a firm rooted in integrity and excellent client service. This is a full-time, on-site role. Office hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include:Perform administrative duties including creating and preparing correspondence and pleadingsProof, verify, and edit documents for accuracy, clarity, and formatting consistencyMonitor and review email, mail, correspondence, pleadings, and scheduling orders from the court; calculate due dates, and ensure all dates are accurately calendaredReview task list and calendar daily to ensure deadlines are metOrganize workload to get time-sensitive documents out in a timely mannerAccurately file correspondence, records, and other documents in document management systemCommunicate professionally with attorneys, staff, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnelCoordinate multi-document filings in Federal, Circuit and State courts, including E-filingsAssist attorneys in all stages of litigation cases from onset through post-trialSchedule appointments and travel, depositions, and obtain court reporters and videographersAssist with preparing trial notebooks and summarizing depositionsQualifications and Experience:2 to 5+ years as a Legal Assistant in a law firm Effective communication skills, both written and verbalAttention to detail and the ability to handle multiple prioritiesExcellent time management and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic team environmentFamiliarity with legal software and Microsoft office toolsAssociate's degree preferred
