Applicants can expect to work in a technology-driven environment focused on personalization, innovation, and scalable digital experiences.Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Frontend Developer Intern role based in San Jose, CA, with flexibility for part-time work from home. The intern will collaborate with engineers and designers to implement responsive user interfaces for GenPark’s web applications using modern front-end technologies. Day-to-day tasks include translating UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable code; building reusable components; integrating with backend APIs; and ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. The intern will participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization, as well as contribute to documentation and basic testing of features. The role offers exposure to product discussions, agile workflows, and experimentation around interactive, AI-driven user experiences.Qualifications Strong interest and foundational skills in Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design to build modern, user-centric interfaces.Basic understanding of Web Development and Software Development principles, including version control, debugging, and code organization.Exposure to Back-End Web Development concepts sufficient to collaborate on API integration and understand data flows.Familiarity with core web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; experience with at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Vue, or similar) is preferred.Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and learn quickly in a fast-paced startup setting.Interest in AI-driven products, digital commerce, and building experiences for Gen Z audiences is a plus.
