Diesel Forklift Mechanic

Job Description (Houston 77015): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Forklift Mechanic / Maintenance Worker. The ideal candidate will be bilingual and possess strong mechanical aptitude with experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment and machinery.Essential Duties:Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts and industrial machineryPerform preventative maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsInspect equipment to identify operational issues and ensure safe functionalityRepair and replace faulty components, motors, wiring, hoses, and hydraulic partsWork with electrical systems ranging from 110V to 660VMaintain accurate maintenance and repair recordsEnsure compliance with workplace safety standards and proceduresCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team members in both English and SpanishRequirements/Skills:Bilingual (English/Spanish) requiredStrong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skillsExperience diagnosing and repairing forklifts or industrial equipment preferredHydraulic systems experience requiredElectrical experience ranging from 110V to 660V requiredAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and schematicsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work overtime consistently as neededPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to stand, bend, kneel, and work in industrial environments for extended periodsComfortable working around moving machinery and equipmentAbility to use hand and power tools safely and effectivelyEqual Opportunity Statement:*Flexicrew Technical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with FTS is governed on the basis of merit, competence, and qualifications.
