Senior Engineering Technician
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to join a New Product Development (NPD) team focused on capital equipment and advanced robotic and automation systems. This role is part of a collaborative team of approximately 12 engineers and technicians supporting the design, build, and validation of complex electro‑mechanical and motion‑control systems. This position is more electrically focused (approximately 60% electrical / 40% mechanical) and will support engineering development efforts through hands‑on testing, troubleshooting, and prototype support. You will work closely with engineers to execute test plans, diagnose system‑level issues, and collect data that supports design decisions across the product development lifecycle. Key responsibilities include building and modifying electrical and electro‑mechanical prototypes, supporting robotic and automated system development, and troubleshooting electrical, motion‑control, and mechanical subsystems. You will routinely read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation, and use diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and other instrumentation to identify and resolve issues. This role operates on a Monday–Friday schedule, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with potential for overtime, and is well‑suited for a hands‑on technician who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, engineering‑driven NPD environment.
