Infusion Pharmacist Location: Duluth, GA Pay Rate: $64.27/hour Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 12:30 PM–8:00 PM, based on business needs Start Date: May 4, 2026 Assignment End Date: August 1, 2026 A-Line Staffing is seeking an Infusion Pharmacist for an opportunity in Duluth, Georgia . This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed pharmacist with strong sterile compounding experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment and maintaining the highest standards of compliance and patient care. Position Summary The Infusion Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications, ensuring medication safety and compliance, maintaining patient records, and providing consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications. This role also includes oversight of sterile compounding operations, supervision of pharmacy staff, and support for compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 standards. Schedule Monday through Friday Shift may be either: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM , or 12:30 PM–8:00 PM Schedule is based on business needs Overtime may be required There is no set closing shift time Responsibilities Accept and dispense prescription medications accurately and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations Monitor patient medication compliance and identify over-usage patterns Ensure prescribed medications are appropriate and safe for patients Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy files Counsel patients on medications, including dosage, storage, side effects, and drug interactions Answer patient questions regarding prescription and non-prescription medications Compound medications for internal and external use Prepare sterile solutions using proper procedures Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacy technicians and clerks Maintain appropriate inventory levels of pharmaceutical and medical supplies Identify drug-related problems and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals Monitor and/or clean the sterile compounding area Ensure competency of pharmacists and technicians performing sterile compounding, including cleaning, garbing, testing, training, and proper compounding procedures Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff to ensure compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required Active pharmacist license through the state pharmacy board required Strong understanding of sterile compounding practices Experience with pharmacy compliance standards, including USP 797 and USP 800 Ability to supervise staff and maintain high standards of quality and accuracy Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy setting Ideal Background Experience in sterile compounding environments Experience supervising pharmacy technicians and support staff Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Comfortable working flexible shift schedules based on operational needs Interested?
