Testing Lead

Role Name: Testing LeadLocation: Jersey CityJob DescriptionSummary:Seeking an experienced Test Lead with strong Property& Casualty (P&C) insurance domain expertise to lead end to endtesting activities for a Mainframe modernization testing program. The Test Lead will be responsible for test strategy, planning, execution and stakeholder coordination across multiple agile teams.Location – NJKey Responsibilities:Desired Candidate should – Have 12 years of experience in Quality Engineering with strong exposure to P&C insurance domain experience Have prior experience in Testing modernization or similar large scale migration programs (Mainframe experience will be a plus) Define and own the overall test strategy and test approach for the program Lead functional, system, integration, regression, and E2E testing efforts Ensure testing aligns with business requirements, regulatory standards, and quality goals Estimate testing effort, manage timelines, and track test progress against milestones Drive test management using tools such as Jira, ADO/TFS Collaborate with automation engineers & teams using tools like Playwright, or API testing tools Have hands-on experience in AI-led Test engineering solutions involving Github Copilot, Claude or similar Lead & co-ordinate multiple cross functional teams to ensure integration & E2E testing across policy platforms and downstream systems Present weekly updates & presentations to senior leadership team Be a strategic advisor for Testing Strong problem solving and analytical thinkingAbility to assess and mitigate risks as part of cross functional test coordinationParticipate and Support Agile ceremonies Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
