Lead Drywall and Plaster Technician — PatchMaster Virginia Beach
Full-time | Virginia Beach / Chesapeake, VA | Residential repair
PatchMaster Virginia Beach repairs drywall, plaster, and interior paint. We need a lead tech who can run jobs, match texture, and leave walls looking new.
What you’ll do:
- Lead on-site drywall and plaster repairs: holes, cracks, seams, water stains, delamination
- Hang, tape, mud, sand, and finish to a paint-ready or level-5 surface
- Match existing textures (orange peel, knockdown, smooth, popcorn removal)
- Repair or skim plaster; prep and paint when the job includes it
- Set the standard for the crew: quality, cleanup, and customer communication
- Estimate materials and time; keep jobs on schedule
- Perform basic tasks that are necessary to complete ceiling and wall repairs.
- Maintain company provided van and tools.
What you need
- 5+ years drywall and plaster repair, residential preferred
- Strong finish work and texture matching
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Able to lift 50+ lb, work on ladders, and work in occupied homes
- Lead experience or the ability to run a small crew
- Good communication skills
- Ability To work clean.
Nice to have:
- Painting experience
- Own basic hand tools
Pay:
