Entry Level Associate Attorney

Job Description We are looking for an Entry Level Associate Attorney who is eager to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in Family Law. Prior Family Law experience is helpful but not required. We are open to candidates with legal experience in any practice area who are motivated to develop strong litigation, client management, and courtroom skills.** Position Overview**This is a great opportunity for an attorney who wants hands-on experience, mentorship, and the chance to work directly on meaningful family law matters. The Associate Attorney will assist with cases involving divorce, custody, support, domestic violence restraining orders, property division, and related family law issues.The ideal candidate is hardworking, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with clients during emotionally sensitive situations.** Responsibilities**Assist with handling family law cases from intake through resolutionDraft pleadings, motions, declarations, discovery, correspondence, and settlement documentsCommunicate with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and expertsPrepare for hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trialsConduct legal research and case analysisAttend court hearings and gain courtroom experienceHelp manage deadlines, case strategy, and client expectationsWork closely with the supervising attorney and legal support team** Qualifications**Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in CaliforniaExperience in any legal field is welcomeStrong writing, research, and communication skillsInterest in learning and practicing Family LawAbility to handle sensitive client matters with professionalism and compassionStrong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlinesLitigation or courtroom experience is a plus, but not requiredBilingual ability is a plus, but not required** What We Offer**Salary range of $90,000 – $120,000 per yearTraining and mentorship in Family LawOpportunity to gain hands-on litigation and courtroom experienceSupportive and collaborative law office environmentMeaningful work helping individuals and families through difficult legal issuesOpportunity for professional growth within the firmCompany DescriptionWalia Law Firm is a Bay Area law firm focused on providing strong, compassionate, and client-centered legal representation.
