What are the primary responsibilities in the Program Manager position? The Program Manager is responsible for all phases of the contract lifecycle including proposal development, staffing, development of plans and schedules, project management and control, conducting formal tests, financial management and forecasting, project reviews, quality, customer relationships, reporting to customers and RRC management, and long-term product support. This position acts with a large degree of independence and has responsibility for delivering customer satisfaction and maintaining the reputation of the company. The Program Manager is responsible for one or more projects which may or may not be interrelated and may or may not serve the same customer. Together, we create custom digital signal processing solutions and communications systems in support of national defense. What required background will make you successful? BS or higher in engineering, physics, computer science, or mathematics. At least 5 years’ experience managing electronics and/or software development projects At least 3 years’ experience as an engineer or developer. Experience in creating plans and schedules that include resources and financials Experience building and leading cross-functional teams Experience in monitoring and controlling project execution Proven ability to cooperate with customers and deliver high quality results Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED Preferred skills: M.S. or higher in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics (counts for 2 years of experience) Master’s in Business Administration Professional certification in project management Understanding of Earned Value Management Experience writing proposals and winning contracts Experience in sales, capture, or business development Where is the position located? This position is located at our Tucson, AZ Headquarters.The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 to $186,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
