It involves observing, recording, and assisting with routine needs to promote safety, comfort, and well being. As a Nurse Aide, you will perform the following duties:Vital Monitoring: Check and record vital signs, height, weight, and specimen information while documenting patterns and outputsPersonal Care: Assist inmates with hygiene routines, bathing, dressing, feeding, positioning, and mobility supportSafety Support: Help maintain safe conditions through infection control practices, proper use of restraints, and safe transfer techniquesRecord Keeping: Record, retrieve, and file information in the electronic health record and prepare required reportsEnvironmental Care: Maintain clean and orderly work areas and report hazards promptly to supervisorsSupply Management: Sterilize equipment, manage inventory, and replenish necessary supplies for daily operationsInterested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, 40 hours per weekThe Department of Corrections is staffed by 3 work shifts that cover the facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.1st shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM; 2nd shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM; and 3rd shift: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM8-hour shifts with rotating days offWork hours TO BE DETERMINEDTelework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
