Plasma Operator (Nightshift)

JOB TITLE: Plasma OperatorDEPARTMENT: ManufacturingLOCATION: Dublin, TXPAY: $17/hr + $2/hr nightshift differentialBENEFITS: Benefits include a full health insurance policy that is 100% covered by Prime, a 50% matching 401(k) package, and a $25,000 life insurance policy. PTO is available after 6 month. 7 paid holidays.SUMMARY: Our Plasma Operator is responsible for the set up and operation of the plasma cutting machines designed to cut and shape excess material from a metal workpiece using a plasma torch.Duties And ResponsibilitiesLocate and ensure correct material is delivered to the work center.Ensure machine is working properly, specifically that plasma heads are level, coolant level is adequate, and consumables are in good working condition.Ensure appropriate nesting program is delivered to the work center.Ensure nesting program matches print with work order.Ensure that the correct gas, speed, and consumables are applied correctly.Understand equipment to determine flaws. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.QualificationsPrior experience in manufacturing/fabrication shop is preferred but not required.Must be able to read and understand prints.Must be able to read and understand measuring devices.
