Senior Network Engineer

JCO has an urgent need for a Senior Network Engineer in Washington DC.Local candidates - Onsite (White House)Clearance: TS/SCI and Yankee White eligibilityWe cannot use vendors or 3rd party in any scenario (contract, W2, etc.)Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary on-site engineer for Aruba networking infrastructure, including Aruba switches, wireless controllers, access points, Aruba Central, and ClearPassDesign, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Aruba wired and wireless LAN environments in a classified, mission-critical settingMonitor network health, lead incident response, and perform root cause analysis for Aruba infrastructure issuesManage network access control (NAC) policies and posture enforcement using Aruba ClearPassImplement network segmentation, VLANs, and secure wireless configurations in accordance with DoD and IC security requirementsPartner with government stakeholders, security officers, and program leadership to ensure continuity of operationsMaintain accurate network documentation, configuration baselines, and change management recordsProvide on-call support as needed given the mission-critical nature of the resident engineering roleEnsure ongoing compliance with applicable STIGs, the Risk Management Framework (RMF), and other DoD cybersecurity requirementsRequired QualificationsActive TS/SCI clearance (current and in scope)Must be Yankee White eligible: U.S. citizenship (typically required of immediate family members as well), no foreign influence concerns, and willingness to undergo a Tier 5 Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) and, where required, a counterintelligence-scope polygraph. Yankee White does not carry interim eligibility – full adjudication is required before assignment5+ years of hands-on experience administering Aruba networking products (switches, wireless controllers, Aruba Central, ClearPassAruba certification strongly preferred (ACMA, ACMP, ACDX, or equivalent)Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or other classified government environmentsSolid working knowledge of network security fundamentals, STIGs, and RMF processesStrong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skillsWillingness to work on-site full time as a resident engineer, with flexibility to support off-hours needsPreferred QualificationsPrior experience in a Presidential Support or other similarly sensitive support rolesAdditional certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Security+, or CISSPExperience with network automation, monitoring, and configuration management tooling
