Assistant Kitchen Manager

What You’ll Do Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff Run daily BOH operations and maintain high food quality standards Work closely with FOH leadership and Event Planners to execute events and service Order inventory, verify deliveries, control waste, and manage food cost Write schedules based on business volume and labor budgets Enforce food safety and sanitation standards Prep, cook, and expedite as needed—this role is extremely hands-on Open and close the kitchen following daily checklists Create weekly menu features and assist with special event menus Support guest satisfaction by solving problems quickly and professionallyWhat We’re Looking For 5+ years of high-volume kitchen experience 2+ years of BOH leadership (Sous Chef, Lead Line, or Kitchen Manager) ServSafe certified or able to obtain within 60 days Strong communicator, calm under pressure, team-first mindset Solid understanding of inventory, ordering, and kitchen organization Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbsIf you’re ready to bring leadership, energy, and high standards to a team that prides itself on great food and great service, apply today.Apply now to join Spare Time Entertainment in Clifton Park!Salary range: $58,000-60,000 per year
