Account Manager - Bulk Commodity Chemicals

Responsibilities: Call on large manufacturing and municipal accounts throughout the Region. Sell full-bulk and mini-bulk volumes of commodity chemicals (Caustic Soda, Sulfuric Acid, Hydrochloric Acid, Bleach, Potassium Hydroxide, Sodium Bisulfite, Nitric Acid, Phosphoric Acid, Calcium Chloride, Aqua Ammonia, etc.). Maintain all existing business and grow the territory through new account development, and new business development at existing accounts. Manage pricing and bids. Be a strong market and price steward. Develop long-term customer relationships. Develop the sales strategies by account and execute the plans. Communicate effectively across all functions within the organization. Travel overnight as needed.Requirements: 4 plus years of chemical industry sales experience or general industrial sales experience. Experience selling commodity chemicals is preferred. A "Hunter" for new business opportunities. A market and price steward. Capable of growing the overall business and market share.
