Functional Specialist

This is onsite role 5 days a week. What you will do: As an Amida Functional Specialist, this individual will support Amida's Data Analytics and Data Science initiatives, including the utilization of value realization tools and applications (such as Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, and Excel dashboards) to analyze and present data to both internal stakeholders and client stakeholders. The Functional Specialist will develop Value Realization-based reports used to advance investment discussions and support investment decisions through data-driven visual aids. They will also improve data completeness and quality in support of both internal and external reporting requirements. This Functional Specialist will also evaluate and refine existing processes and performance metrics utilized in order to integrate enhanced performance metrics within Value Realization tools that will be used for internal and external reporting and monitoring. This Functional Specialist will evaluate and refine existing User Interface functionality through the use of User-Centered Design (UCD) techniques in order to provide an improved customer and user experience. This Functional Specialist will conduct analysis and make recommendations on the necessary information and data to collect, as well as define a data hierarchy, to drive customer-based IT funding decision making processes. Required Skills: Minimum Qualifications for this position include: 2+ years of Data analytics and Data Science experience Report/Dashboard development using Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, Excel dashboards Experience with SQL for relational databases, such as SQL Server and Oracle Experience developing reports in Power BI and Tableau Data visualization design utilizing Tableau Experience with complete design of Management Information (MI) reports Only U.S. Citizens Preferred Skills: Experience with SQL for relational databases, such as SQL Server and Oracle Experience developing reports in Power BI and Tableau Data visualization design utilizing Tableau Experience with complete design of Management Information (MI) reports Experience in IT Investment governance and data-driven decision making, including the development of Value-Realization (VR) reporting such as value stream management, flow metrics, and other program management data In addition to the bullet points listed above, communication is the key to success at Amida.
