Pallet Assembler

Pallet Assembler Join our manufacturing team in a vast 60,000 square foot facility built on 11 acres, where we stock ample materials and finished products to serve our clients efficiently. We specialize in customizing wooden pallets and skids of all sizes, including odd sizes for specific shipping requirements. This role involves assembling various sizes of pallets, skids, and jig boxes in a fast-paced and physical environment.Responsibilities:Assemble wooden pallets, skids, and jig boxes of varying sizes.Lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 75 lbs.Work with wood products ranging from 1 to 16 feet in length.Maintain a clean work area by sweeping and removing excess wood pieces.Utilize staple and air-powered nail guns for assembly.Accurately measure materials using a tape measure up to 1/16th of an inch.Essential Skills:Proficiency in assembly using power tools and hand tools.Experience with nail guns, air tools, and staple guns.Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately up to 1/16 of an inch.Capability to lift and manage weights up to 75 pounds.Must have a valid driver's license and personal transportation.No GED required.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Pass a simple math test (Morgan test).Experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.Why Work Here?This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity in a small team environment, with the potential for growth within the company.Work Environment:The work environment is a large manufacturing facility that remains comfortable year-round, heated in the winter and open in the summer.
