If you share our passion for patient-centered care, you are made for this!Our Home Health Registered Nurses enjoy some notable benefits:$40-55 per hour and mileage reimbursement1:1 nurse-to-patient ratios where you impact outcomesFlexible assignments, autonomy and work-life balanceOnline training, growth and ability to earn CEUsTuition discounts through Rasmussen University As a Home Health Registered Nurse, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:Provide compassionate and personalized home-based care to patients with illnesses, injuries and chronic diseases-often after discharge from a hospital, rehab or nursing facilityWork with a team of physicians and oversee LPNs, CNAs and aides providing patient careExamine patients, do assessments, document progress and report changes to their physicianEducate patients on their plan of care, prescribed medication, therapy, diet and exerciseCoach family members on the patient's plan of care, medication and home safetyEnsure goals are met and coordinate discharge from services A few must-haves for Home Health Registered Nurses:Excellent interpersonal communication skillsGraduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in ColoradoProficient IV skills and knowledgeable of central lines (PICC lines and ports)CPR certificationKnowledge of state and federal home health regulationsClinical proficiency in nursing specialty, strong communication skills and compassionNot required but preferred:Prior experience in the home care settingHigh acuity and specialized experience (i.e. care of patients with neurological deficits: quadriplegic, trach and vent care, bowel programs, etc., behavioral/psych history)Minimum of 1 year experience giving specialty infusions and IVIG.Why Work for Interim HealthCare?Founded in 1966, Interim HealthCare is the nation's first home care company and a leading employer of Registered Nurses (RNs).
