Join Our Team as a Radiation Therapist - Oncology Job Description: - Be a key player in elevating oncology services on the beautiful island of Hawaii! - Independently perform a variety of radiation therapy treatments, including: - Simulations - Treatment planning - Fabrication of specialized treatment aides - Work closely with physicians to execute their prescriptions and instructions with precision. - Demonstrate your knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan, ensuring tailored care for patients of all ages. - Showcase your expertise on advanced technology: - Proficient use of Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator - Experience with ARIA EMR - Manage an exciting caseload of 25-30 patients per day across a wide array of treatment modalities: - 3D - IMRT - SBRT - Electrons - Engage in diverse treatment setups at a comprehensive cancer center. Experience and Licensure Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible imaging technologist/specialist experience. - Must hold a current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in Radiation Therapy (T) and current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license. - BLS certification is required. Shift Details: - Varied rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. - Holiday coverage will be required.
