Dance Instructor

San Diego Dance Theater is hiring for in-person Children's Classes teachers for the Fall 2026 session! Session runs from approximately mid-September to mid-December with the opportunity to continue employment into Spring Session and beyond.Qualifications:2 or more years of experience teaching dance classes for children ages 2 - 8competence in the styles of Ballet and Tap requiredstrong classroom management, verbal communication, and email communication skillsability to create and deliver age and style appropriate lesson plansGood to know:Teacher needed on Wednesdays between 3pm - 6pm, so your availability would need to be compatible with those timeframesCompensation is $40 per hour, and is non-negotiableTo apply:Send a brief, one-page resume including your most recent and relevant work experience to info@sandiegodancetheater.org by April 7th, 2026Optional additional materials: Cover letter and headshotIf your application is selected to move forward into the interview process, our Education and Outreach manager will contact you via email.
