Title: SAS EngineerLocation: SFO, CA (4 days a week from client office)ResponsibilitiesYou will be working with elite investment professionals to build cutting-edge, high quality alpha signals and platform. In this role, you willMigrate data pipelines that load vendor data to Sybase IQ away from a legacy SAS/Informatica stack. Adapt to utilize Snowflake based datasets and an internal Python framework.Partner with other teams to integrate.Identify and implement ways to improve the efficiency of our system.QualificationsWe value post-graduate degree holders, and we also value individuals with equivalent commercial experience. BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experienceAt least 5+ years’ experience working in data analytics environments.5+ years’ experience in SAS5+ years’ experience in Python2+ years’ experience in Informatica2+ years’ experience in DBTExperience with dev ops tools like Git, Maven, or Azure DevOpsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPassion for learning and implementing new technologies.Skills that would be a plus2+ years’ experience in SQL, and Cloud technologies including S3, Kubernetes, AzureML, and Dask / AirflowExperience / Familiarity with databases and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks etc.Container-Orchestration technologies like KubernetesExperience working on a globally distributed team
